The Timber

This custom-built mountain retreat designed to bring comfort, character, and the outdoors together. Surrounded by natural beauty and framed by incredible mountain views, this cabin was built to be both a peaceful getaway and a place to gather with family and friends.

One of the most unique features of this build came early in construction. During excavation, a large section of natural rock was uncovered that was too substantial to remove, requiring the basement layout and foundation to be carefully designed around the existing site conditions.

The main floor offers a warm and inviting open-concept living space centered around a beautiful kitchen and a log-burning fireplace. Large windows flood the space with natural light while perfectly capturing the mountain scenery beyond. Also on the main level is the private primary suite, complete with a walk-in closet and ensuite, along with a mudroom/laundry area and a full main bathroom.

Downstairs, the lower level was designed for hosting and relaxing, with additional guest bedrooms, a spacious family room with a gas fireplace, and direct access to the outdoor deck. A thoughtfully placed bathroom with exterior access makes it easy to transition from the hot tub back indoors.

Outside, expansive walkout decks on both levels create exceptional outdoor living spaces. The upper deck features its own fireplace, making it the perfect place to unwind year-round. Finished with sleek glass railings, every outdoor space was designed to maximize the unobstructed views of the mountains in the distance.
